Dear Parents and Scouts,We are glad that you will be joining Troop 5109. Scouting is one of the largest and oldest youth organizations in the world. As a part of this organization you will soon learn that it is immediately recognized and respected by many people. This handbook is to help you learn more about scouting and our troop and we hope that it will be useful. Please read this along with the first pages of the Scouts BSA Handbook for Girls. Any questions that you may have can be answered by one of our troop leaders. Both parents and Scouts should read this handbook together to familiarize themselves with the operation of the troop.
