Proper preparation for scout outings includes preparing appropriate menus, a duty roster for meals, and planning time for cooking and cleanup. Troop 5109 will make every effort to honor dietary restrictions and food allergies, but it is the responsibility of the Scout (and parent) to notify the Scoutmaster. Sometimes, planning a healthy, well-rounded meal will mean trying something new – please strive to have a good attitude and eat others’ cooking! Some general rules apply:
Prepare and make BALANCED MEALS. | |

Acceptable beverages: water, milk, some juices. Limited sodas and consumption of sports drinks. |
