Scoutmaster Conference

Each of the ranks contains the requirement to “Participate in a Scoutmaster Conference.” The purpose of the conference is to develop, over a period of time, an increasing level of understanding and trust between the Scoutmaster (and Assistant Scoutmasters) and each Scout. 

Advancement is the Scout’s responsibility. The Scout should save all written work and projects completed for merit badges and rank. After all the requirements of a rank are completed, the Scoutmaster Conference is the time in which the Scout’s progress is reviewed.
